Etty Bay Beach and the Cassowary

Today we took our chances and headed to the Etty Bay beach. The weather was definitely not on our side on that day but it was the best day to go out as the days before were constantly raining . We saw a Cassowary while walking on the beach. We would have loved to stay but the Caravan Park is not dog friendly.

Here are some more pictures from Etty Bay Beach which is about 15km from Innisfail away. We spent our time here with walks along the beach, that’s when we saw the cassowary in the tree-shaded reserve. We also had a delicious picnic on the beach as well. This place is not big, it has a beach, a road, the Surf Life Saving Club and a small caravan park.
